Psalm 118:24: This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
I am so thankful for this day in which I exist to serve God. I am blessed with the opportunity to preach again this Sunday on Ruth chapter 1. The sermon is Running on Empty or Filled by Faith. There are so many people in this world who feel that their lives are “empty.” We pursue the things of this world to fill that void or emptiness, when we should be seeking God, who can bring us into fullness in Christ.
As believers we must remember that God is close by, He is available, all we have to do is call upon His name. When we call upon Jesus, He will answer, and will deliver us from emptiness and a life that is dead. Call upon the name of Jesus and experience a full life in Christ, who defeated sin and death on the cross at Calvary. He is waiting for you to call upon His name and you will begin to see that all things are possible through Christ.
The song by Nicole C. Mullen, Call on Jesus, is another one of my favorite praise songs. If you have not yet listened to the beautiful words of this song, I encourage you to do so this morning, it will renew and strengthen your faith.
May the Peace of Christ be with you all.
